Feature Film, Sound Stuff, Work in Progress

Brown Willy Sound Edit

Following a month of film editing work, it’s been really fun to get back on Pro Tools and play around with sound files on Brown Willy!

Myself and James Chatwin have been approached to help out in the tracklay and early mixing stages of Brown Willy, Brett Harvey’s feature film about a stag weekend on Bodmin Moor. Assisting Daniel Thompson, we get the task of locating and slotting in sound effects and ambient tracks to help fill out the sound. With the main location being the ‘desolate’ Bodmin Moor, lots of wind tracks are being used, but there has also been the chance to have a go at some contact sounds, with an extended, comedy fight scene during the film.

Looking forward to seeing the final mix of this film-very proud that it will be my first credit on a feature film.
