Short film based around Roman Polanski’s ‘Cul De Sac’, starring Rory Wilton, Anna Alfieri and Tony King.

Shot over 5 days on location in Cornwall, my role on Ian Padfield’s 3rd year film at Falmouth University involved assisting the DoP, the 1st AD and the lighting technician with the set up of each scene’s lighting and set design whilst keeping detailed notes about the placement of props and the blocking directions Ian was giving the actors.

As well as keeping continuity notes during the shooting about the actor’s movements, delivery of words and eye-lines, I was also the Clapper Loader and shot logger, noting down Ian Padfield’s comments on each take and marking each take with the clapper board.

Ian achieved a 2:1 for this film and recut the film after marking to improve the sound design.
